James started his intramural career his first year at USC as a Flag Football Official and in just two years became the student sports coordinator of Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, and Softball. After he graduated he pursued two masters’ degrees and became the Graduate Associate of Intramurals at The Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. His first professional position was the University of Vermont as their Intramural Sports Coordinator. Most recently James has taken on the Interim Assistant Director of Intramural Sports position at the University of Vermont and is looking forward to all the exciting programming that he will be creating!!! James is an avid sports fan and loves to officiate and watch all types of sports. James has experience officiating basketball, lacrosse, and football at the high school level. He regularly supports the best football team in the SEC on Saturday, the Carolina Gamecocks. And because his girlfriend went to Indiana he is sometimes forced to watch Big Ten Basketball against his will : (
