The Personal Training Program is for everyone who has a valid recreational membership. Campus Recreation employs personal trainers who are nationally certified or pursuing a certification through ACE, AFAA, NSCA, or ACSM. It is our goal to motivate, guide, and educate clients in order to help them achieve their fitness goals. Trainers will develop individualized programs specific to the needs of each client. During sessions, trainers will show clients how to properly execute exercises to ensure safety and effectiveness. Programs will be centered around the components of fitness, to help enhance the client’s performance in all areas. Sessions last approximately one hour. Our personal trainers provide the instruction and motivation you need to reach your health and fitness goals. We are dedicated to designing safe, attainable and individualized fitness programs.

Consistent training is an important key to success in any exercise program. All of the personal training options are designed to encourage consistent behavior and lifestyle choices regarding exercise and physical activity, which is why we recommend that you schedule your sessions with trainers 1-2 times per week. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice or "no shows" will be billed at the rate of a normal session. In other words, the session will be lost and not rescheduled.
