SWIM LESSONS

Learn to Swim

The learn to swim program is designed by UVM Campus Recreation and offers both youth and adult swimmers the opportunity to learn and develop aquatic skills in a nurturing and friendly environment. All instructors are certified in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid. Classes are individualized and formatted to meet a wide variety of swimming needs. Below is a description of all lesson types so that you can pick out the format that best meets the needs of you or your swimmer.

Please Note: Because the pool is the primary facility for the UVM varsity swimming program, the water temperature is kept between 79-80 degrees. This may be cooler than other pool temperatures so please plan accordingly.
