Who is eligible to purchase a Campus Recreation Membership?

  • UVM Alumni & UVM Alumni Spouses (only if UVM Alumni already has a membership)
  • Non-Benefited Staff (Temp)
  • Fletcher Allen Employees
  • Friends of UVM - Anyone may purchase a membership to the Athletic Facilities following these steps:
    • Must be sponsored by someone who currently has access to the facilities (thorough a membership or UVM benefit)
    • Your sponsor must accompany you while purchasing your membership
Membership Highlights
  • No Restricted Fitness Center Hours
  • Access to over 300,000 square feet of indoor recreational facilities
    • Fitness Center (110 pieces of equipment), Indoor Track, Pool, Indoor Tennis Courts, Racquetball/Squash Courts, Patrick Gymnasium, and Bouldering Wall.
  • Hours of operation for all above areas of the Campus Recreation Facilities are available 24 hrs a day by checking the online Facility Schedule which is also available by going to the main Campus Recreation website and clicking on Facilities Schedules link in the middle of the page. The online schedules are updated weekly for the most accurate information about open recreational opportunities.
  • Members are eligible to purchase Group Fitness Passes.
    • To register for a group exercise fitness pass please contact Shena Faith or Coordinator of Fitness at shena.faith@uvm.edu or 802.656.8058.
  • Members are not eligible to participate in Intramural Sports
  • Lockers may be purchased for $10.00 per semester by contacting the Varsity Equipment Room (802.656.7679). With a locker purchase you are also eligible to receive Towel Service.
  • Campus Rec Members are also permitted to bring a guest to enjoy the facilities for a rate of $7.00 per day. For additional information regarding guest guidelines please review the information on our Admissions Web Page.
  • Once a Campus Recreation Membership is obtained that member will have first right to renew the membership before it is offered to anyone on the waiting list.
  • Parking
    • Permits:
      • Members are entitled to purchase a commuter parking permit. This commuter permit is valid in the Brown areas of the Gutterson Lot on the Athletic Campus.
      • Parking permits may be purchased through Transportation and Parking Services. For more information as well as prices please contact TPS. Contact Information: phone: 802.656.8686, website: www.uvm.edu/~tpswww/, or email: parking@uvm.edu.
    • Meters:
      • There are 2 hour meters available out front of Gutterson Lot that are available for anyone to use.
Membership Dues and Options
  • Full Facility (No Restrictions)
    • Full Calendar Year (12 Months) - $400.00
    • Half Year (Six Months) - $250.00
    • 3 Months - $135.00
    • 20 Visit Card (Expires in one year from purchase) - $100.00
  • Racquet Sports Only (Racquetball, Squash and Tennis)
    • 3 Months - $75.00
    • 6 Months - $120.00
    • 12 Months - $200.00
  • Pool Only
    • 3 Months - $75.00
    • 6 Months - $120.00
    • 12 Months - $200.00
How to get your Campus Recreation Membership
  • For:
    • UVM Alumni & UVM Alumni Spouses (only if UVM Alumni already has a membership).
    • Non-Benefited Staff (Temp).
    • Fletcher Allen Employees.

      Pick up your UVM ID Card (if you don't already have one) by contacting the CATcard Office.

Summer Access Requirements - Students

Students enrolled in the Spring Semester and enrolled in the following Fall Semester will have full access to the facilities without charge.
