Building Monitors
Campus Recreation Building Monitors oversee activities happening in several areas of the PFG Athletic Complex including: the fitness center, group exercise rooms, gutterson rink, basketball and tennis courts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist customers, check UVM ID's, enforce building policies and monitor safety. Students who have flexible schedules and a great attitude will be given priority. Office Assistants
An Office Assistant in the Campus Recreation Department helps the professional staff with daily office tasks. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Answering telephones, photocopying, mail delivery, monitoring the desk area and cash register use. REQUIREMENTS: Office Assistants must be prepared to enforce building policies. General Program Support Office Assistant

Assist the Coordinators of Intramural Sports & Fitness Programs with daily tasks concerning fitness, intramural sports, and student development initiatives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the administrative data collection and entry for programs. Assist with identification verification for program offerings. Answering telephones, photocopying, mail delivery, monitoring the desk area and computer software applications. REQUIREMENTS: Will train, no experience necessary. Shifts are scheduled during the week during office hours and in the evenings, some weekends may be necessary. WORK STUDY REQUIRED.

Building Supervisor
A Campus Recreation Building Manager monitors the entire PFG Facility and is a first responder to any unusual situations that may arise. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Peer supervision, handling conflict/other difficult situations, ensure customer safety, other duties as assigned. Weekend and evening hours are available .REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates will have: CPR/First Aid certification, office experience, confidence in their decision making and a high level of responsibility. Fitness Facility Specialist
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Assistant Director of Operations with management of fitness facilities including the Gucciardi Fitness Center, Gutterson Multi Purpose Room, Dance Studio, and upper level track. Inspect, maintain, clean and perform minor repairs on fitness equipment such as treadmills, cycles, climbers, ellipticals, and resistance training equipment. Communicate with the Fitness Center Attendants and monitor their compliance with cleaning/inspection duties. LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES: The Specialist will learn several aspects regarding the management of a busy and large fitness facility. REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have interest in working with tools and a desire to learn more about various fitness equipment. Responsible and detail oriented individuals are important. Group Fitness Instructor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Instruct group fitness classes in a fun, motivating, safe, and well-prepared manner. Attend pre-scheduled meetings/training. Early morning, lunch time, evening and weekend hours available. Possible class formats are unlimited and include traditional, cardio (kickboxing, step), mind/body (Pilates), strength, cycling (spinning), aquatic, dance, sport conditioning formats and creative Happy Hour formats. We are looking for charismatic, outgoing individuals who have passion for fitness. Daytime, weekend, and evening hours available. REQUIREMENTS: Group Fitness Certification by AFAA, ACE and work experience preferred but not necessary - we will train and mentor ideal candidates (especially UVM students). Preferably CPR certified. Intramural Sports Programming

Intramural Officials
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Officiate Intramural Sports. No officiating experience necessary!! Training is provided for all of our sports. We encourage individuals to officiate multiple sports (dodgeball, flag football, soccer, broomball (must skate), ice hockey (must skate), basketball, volleyball, inner tube water polo) throughout the year. Students who officiate Intramural Sports may also, and are encouraged to, participate in the sports they are officiating. REQUIREMENTS: General knowledge and interest in a variety of sports and activities. Attend scheduled meetings/trainings. Available weeknights and some weekends as necessary. Work-Study is encouraged but not required.

Intramural Supervisors
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the training of officials & new supervisors. Responsible for on-site risk management and enforcement of all departmental policies. Supervise officials and provide on-going constructive feedback for improvement. REQUIREMENTS: Recommended that a Supervisor has officiated at least one semester and more than one sport with the IM program. Attend scheduled meetings/trainings. Assist the Marketing Coordinator with special projects associated with programs and goals. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Promote programs. Help maintain building signage. Assist with special events. Adventure Day Camp Staff

All Staff Positions: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the safety and well-being of camp participants, plan, organize, facilitate camp activities that are age appropriate, implement policies and procedures of the Adventure Day Camp Manual and Campus Recreation, attend all staff meetings, be available in the summer (6/18-8/7, M-F, 8am-4:30pm).
