Team Manager's Information
Team managers shall serve as the liaison between the Intramural Sports Office and their team. The success of the Intramural Sports Program depends largely on the leadership and interest of the team manager. Experience has proven that successful teams usually have dedicated and effective team leaders. The policies and procedures in the Intramural Sports Handbook are the rules that will be enforced at each and every intramural sports competition. Understanding and adhering to these guidelines, as well as taking responsibility for the adminstrative duties for the team, will facilitate and allow for a team’s successful participation in the intramural sports program at the University of Vermont.

In-Person Managers' Meetings
In-person managers' meetings must be attended by team managers or a team representative that is available on the specific day, time, and location.
Missed Manager Meetings: Any team that does not attend the manager meeting may be dropped from the league and replaced with a team from the waiting list that attended the manager meeting. In the event that there are no teams on the wait list to replace the teams that have missed the meeting, teams may be allowed to remain in the league at the discretion of the Assistant Director; however these teams will be required to earn a sportsmanship average rating of ‘4.5’ in the regular season in order to advance to playoffs (as opposed to a ‘4.0’) and will be assessed a $10 fee.
