- Non-violence/Civil
Disobedience Training for the Boston Rally
on Saturday, March 11th at Cook Commons in the Billings Student
Center at UVM in Burlington from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
It will include training in non-violent civil disobediance and
legal issues.
- "Globalization after Seattle: The
View from Haiti" Camille Chalmers, veteran leader of
Haiti's pro-democracy movement, Chief of Staff to former President
Jean Bertrand Aristide, leader of PAPDA, a coalition of Haitian
union and peasant organizations. Wednesday, March 22, 7 p.m.

Summit (YES 2000) organized by and
for high school students all day Monday, March 27th in Fairlee,
Vermont. Professional presenters will cover a range of

- Non-violence/Civil
Disobedience Training for Washington, D.C., demonstration against
the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund
(IMF) on Saturday, April 1st at
Cook Commons in the Billings Student Center at UVM in Burlington
from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It will include training in
non-violent civil disobediance, legal issues, police scenarios,
etc. Please come, if you plan to go to D.C.
- FAST 2000 to close the
School of the Americas--a
nationwide protest beginning April 6th. See School
