Areas

I am interested in studying concealable (e.g., religion, HIV/AIDS) and transitional (e.g., age) stigmas, focusing both people's experiences of prejudice and discrimination and other peoples expectations for these members of these stigmatized groups. My research is also exploring the differences between subtle and more blatant forms of prejudice, particularly focusing on how targets of prejudice perceive subtle prejudice. Other research interests include decision making and the intersection of social psychology and the law.
