Areas
My research interests lie mostly in the measurement and manipulation of behavior. Over the years I have studied behavior and behavior change in a variety of species from rats and pigeons to exotic animals to humans. Currently my research focuses on the use of behavioral economic principles to motivate health-related behavior change in disadvantaged populations. Of specific interest is substance use in pregnant or recently postpartum women.
