Howard Center Substance Abuse Services:

ACT 1/Detox
Located at 184 Pearl Street in downtown Burlington,
Act 1 is a community-based alcohol and drug crisis stabilization and social detoxification program. The program provides 24-hour supervised shelter for clients who are intoxicated and incapacitated by drugs and/or alcohol and who have come to the attention of law enforcement or who are self-referred.

Adult Intensive Substance Abuse Outpatient Program
Clinicians provide quality intensive substance abuse counseling to Chittenden County residents ages 18 years and older. Counseling requires a commitment of no less than three days a week/three hours a day. Clients can expect active participation in defining goals for treatment and strict confidentiality. Services are provided weekdays by appointment from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Clinicians provide quality substance abuse counseling to Chittenden County residents ages 18 years and older. Clients can expect active participation in defining goals for treatment and strict confidentiality. Services are provided weekdays by appointment, Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
