Professor Moyser teaches courses in comparative and international politics, especially in the area of Britain and Western Europe. His research interests lie in two areas, political participation and democracy and the relationship between politics and religion. He has published many articles, reports and books, the latter including, most recently, Political Participation and Democracy in Britain (Cambridge); Politics and Religion in the Modern World (Routledge); Local Politics and Participation in Britain and France (Cambridge), and Church and Politics In A Secular Age (Clarendon).
