Professor Elliott has taught at the University of California, Santa Cruz, was the Director of the Center for Research on Women at Wellesley College, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, and Vice Provost at the University of Vermont. Professor Elliott's areas of interest include comparative politics and women's studies, specializing in India and Women in Developing countries.
