The Digital Herbarium











 The photography of our herbarium specimens and the digitization of herbarium data label information is ongoing. We are continuing a major effort to present our specimen data in coordination with the Consortium of Northeastern Herbaria and the U.S. Virtual Herbarium project. The software platform being used for the data is Specify 6. Thus far, this database contains our entire collection of native North American Cupressaceae and Pinaceae north of Mexico, the demonstration project data set for the Consortium of Northeastern Herbaria (Celastrus and Epipactis), and data for a few hundred miscellaneous specimens that were imported from other data resources as the specimens were accessioned.
