My philosophical interests are centered in metaphysics and philosophy
of language. I am presently pursuing a metaphysical project
begun
in
my dissertation, exploring the prospects for a view about the nature
of necessity called Modal Primitivism, according to which facts
regarding what's necessary or possible are at least as fundamental a
part of reality as other facts.
Presently I am working on a number of sub-projects. Some
papers
and
drafts are available
here.
I am presently teaching an introductory philosophy course, and an
advanced seminar on Saul Kripke's 'Naming and
Necessity'
When I am not working, I enjoy the usual sorts of bourgeois
diversions, most especially reading about history and science.
