Faculty Fellows for Service-Learning

Since 1999, UVM has supported faculty to develop community-engaged courses through the Faculty Fellows program. In the past few years, the program has involved a training with Vermont Campus Compact. This winter & spring, the semester-long, cohort-based Faculty Fellows for Service-Learning program returned to UVM hosted by CUPS with support from the Provost's Office.

A one-day workshop in January, luncheons in December & February-April, and a final one-day workshop in May comprise the fellows training. A follow-up meeting will be held the following fall, as faculty implement courses. Faculty completing the full training will receive funding towards their service-learning activities.

If you are a UVM faculty member interested in becoming a Service-Learning Faculty Fellow, please email Susan Munkres.
