Rock Climbing 101*

An introduction to basic rock climbing equipment, skills and belay technique. Rock 101 is a great introduction for never-ever climbers. All equipment and instruction provided.

Mt. Ellen Day Hike **

At 4083 feet, Mt. Ellen is tied with Camel's Hump for the third highest mountain in the state. Experience a lesser-known of our highest peaks for the day.

Camel's Hump Sunrise Hike**

From one of our favorite mountains in VT view two of our neighboring state's mountain ranges, this will be a sunrise like none other.

Back in the Adirondacks**

Starting at the Adirondack Loj, trip follows a loop allowing great summits in a short trip. Be prepared for distant Camel's Hump and Mansfield to make up your skyline from one of the High Peaks.

Monroe Skyline Trade-off**

Two separate groups will have the pleasure of traversing the Long Trail's own Monroe skyline this weekend, one northbound, the other southbound. At separate shelters with high fives between Mt. Abe and Mt. Ellen, a van trade ensue before heading back to UVM.

OC Cabin Work Weekend*

The Outing Club cabin in Bolton gets a lot of use throughout the year as a crash pad for local weekend trips, a resort center for campus groups, and a training center for TREK leaders. On it's days off, it needs a little TLC. Hop on the wagon and grab your workin' pants for a weekend of free food and home improvement.
