We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you! As a result, the program will visit a series of NEW locations in Southern China, the names of which will be posted as soon as arrangements are made. Tentative Asian Travel Itinerary for GIAC China in Summer 2005 Day Activity 1 Departure from Burlington - Flight to China 2 Arrival in Beijing, China 3,4 Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tianenmen Square,Beijing Opera and acrobatic show 5 Departure for and arrival at Qufu in Shandong Province 6,7,8,9,10 Confucius' Chamber, Confucian Temple, Confucius' birthplace, village market, homestays with Chinese families, sport and entertaining activities with high school students, lectures on chinese arts, music and women's roles in China. 11 Climb Taishan Mountain 12 Departure for and arrival at Xi'an 13,14 Museum of Terra Cotta Soldiers and Horses, City Wall Park,and Huaqing Hot Spring 15 Departure for and arrival at Hohhot, Inner Mongolia 16,17,18 Zhaojun Tomb, Wuta Temple, village visit, and overnight field trip to the grasslands 19 Departure for and arrival at Beijing 20 Silk Alley and the Friendship Store in Beijing 21 Departure for and arrival at Burlington, Vermont
