Sensor Research Interest Group
Welcome to the Sensor Interest Group web site. The purpose of this site is to provide a centralized place for Vermont Scientists and Engineers to describe their research interests as they relate to sensors. This will allow one to initiate a dialog among interested parties, search for local expertise and/or locate a potential collaborator.
The site is divided into three general sections
reflecting the following interest areas: design and construction of new sensors,
application of sensors, and sensor data management. However, it is
reasonable to expect that a group may have expertise/interest cutting across
these subcategories. If you wish to be added to this web site, please
contact Brenda Maglaris and provide her with the category
under which your link(s) should be included along with a brief description.
Design and Construction of New Sensors
Groups in this section are primarily interested in the development of new sensor systems. Projects range from the synthesis of new materials to new or modified measurement technologies.
Groups in this section utilize sensors to solve problems including, but not limited to, the environmental and biomedical sciences.
Groups in this section focus on developing of advanced methologies for management and manipulation of data acquired by sensor systems.
