Funded with a $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this project is being called a "once-in-a-generation" opportunity for Chittendon County. Read more about ECOS on their website.

The sesquicentennial celebration of the Justin Morrill Land Grant Act will highlight the importance of public higher education to our
country's future in innovation. Our Director of Federal Relations, Wendy Koenig, tells UVM's story to our nation's
decision makers and collaborates on federal issues.

The PreK-16 Council works toward 60 percent of the state's adult population earning an associate or high level degree by 2020. Our Director of State Relations, Clarence Davis, serves as liaison to state agencies, organizations and the Vermont legislature on behalf of the University. -
The University is collaborating with Burlington's Intervale Center
to provide expertise on projects like its Food Hub, which strives to bring more local food into the community. Joe Speidel, Director of Local
Government and Community Relations supports this
and other initiatives which are part of the University's Food Spire.
