Please Note:

Faculty Coordinators:
Margaret Vizzard, PhD
Sean Flynn, PhD
Liana Merrill, PhD

Student coordinators:
Megan Shipman & Riley St. Clair

During the spring semester, first year students are in another class on some dates, and excused. If a student will be absent he/she must contact the student coordinator and Dr. Margaret Vizzard to be excused.

Students who have proposed their dissertation research more than a year ago will present a dissertation research update instead of presenting a journal article.

Guidelines for effective journal club presentations can be found here. Spring 2016 guidelines can be found here.

Last Year's Topic was "Novel methods, techniques and animal models".

The articles below are linked to .pdf files via PubMed. (Download AdobeĀ® Reader.)

NGP Student Journal Club

NSCI 381/382 is a graduate student-run journal club with research presentations and critical review of the literature in the neurosciences. Participation is open to all graduate students, but required of Neuroscience Graduate Program students each semester. Participants can review course guidelines here.

2015-2016: “Neural Basis of Behavior” and “Neuroengineering”

Journal club is held in HSRF 400 as noted below. Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00 pm
