News! Professional news in UVM Today: Robert Althoff, assistant professor of psychiatry and pediatrics, delivered the 2009 Richard Todd Award Lecture at the 17th World Congress on Psychiatric Genetics in San Diego, Calif. on Nov. 6. The lecture was titled "Whole Genome Methylation Study of 48 Monozytgotic Pairs Concordant or Discordant for Attention Problems."

Neuroscience-related seminar series throughout the UVM community


Neuroscience Seminar Series (Neuro Sem): Sponsored by the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology, the Vermont Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience, and the Neuroscience Center of Biomedical Research Excellence

ANNB and Neuroscience Graduate Student Journal Club (NGP JC): Students in ANNB 381/382 present literature in various areas of neurobiological sciences to the neuroscience community.

Basic Science of Neurological Diseases (BSND Lecture): The goal of the course is to provide insight in recent developments in transitional neuroscience research and to stimulate interaction between basic and clinical neuroscience research at UVM. In order to achieve this goal, the course will focus on an in-depth examination of a single group of highly related neurological disorders.
