This year NAMI was gracious enough to send some of our members to the National Convention this year. Held in Washington DC, members of NAMI UVM and NAMI Vermont had a chance to interact with members of the national branch, as well as others from a wide number of states. We also met with a number of student leaders representing NAMI in their colleges and attended events specifically for student leaders. Brainstorming ideas and keeping in touch with these leaders in the future will allow the network of NAMI students to grow over the future years and for NAMI on campus to become even more helpful and to touch even more lives in the future.
