State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, a member of the chamber music ensemble MusicAlive and Divertissement, the woodwind trio of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. He is founder and director of the Vermont Contemporary Music Ensemble (VCME)

He has performed in and produced two compact discs with the VCME.

Steven Klimowski studied clarinet with Leon Russianoff while attending the Manhattan School of Music and SUNY Purchase. Since then Mr. Klimowski has played for three years with the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra and has concertized in a solo and chamber music capacity premiering several works for solo clarinet. In addition to his solo career and his ensemble participation, he is founder and director of the Vermont Contemporary Music Ensemble which has been performing new music since 1987. In 1987 and again in 1990 Mr. Klimowski was honored with an individual artist's fellowship from the Vermont Council on the Arts.
