Email: Joseph.Capps@uvm.eduJoe Capps is an adjunct lecturer of music at the University of Vermont where he teaches private instruction in jazz guitar and beginning group guitar. After Berklee Joe began teaching and performing in Burlington, Vermont, and the regional area. He has had countless performances in clubs, studios, and private engagements as a solo artist as well as a group leader or sideman for various musical ensembles. Joe plays acoustic and electric guitars, electric bass, and keyboards. Joe also owns and engineers a professional project recording studio Poker Hill, where he has made many CD recordings of his own and other artists. Joe also teaches music technology and studio recording at Johnson State College in Johnson, VT.
Memorable performances: Joe has been the opening act performer for Doc Watson, Paula Poundstone, and Ray Charles.
