Teaching Philosophy

My classroom will be a place where students are respected as individuals with potential, different interests and needs.    Students will strive to possess the academic, social and technological skills required for an increasingly complex curriculum.  Students will know that they are capable of reaching their full potential.  As faculty, I will dedicate myself to the idea that students can and should learn.  I will continue to provide the support and tools to ensure that students feel comfortable and excited in class.  I will provide a safe and respectful learning environment to ensure that students grow and learn as scholars.  I hope to use creative techniques to ensure an active classroom and full participation from the students.
