Ann Hoogenboom is from Moretown, VT and considers herself very lucky to have grown up in the Mad River Valley. She went to Wheaton College in Massachusetts to pursue undergraduate studies with a major in Hispanic Studies including a year of study in Cordoba, Spain. Ann has worked and lived in Madrid, Utah and Seattle over the last 6 years and is now returning to Vermont to pursue her graduate education and interests in environmental policy. Ann’s interests include agricultural policy and food systems, public health and climate change. She is also an avid skier and outdoor enthusiast, looking forward to exploring Vermont’s beautiful landscape once again.
