Biography
Prior to teaching at UVM, Doris worked as a Mediation and Organizational Development Consultant for the private and nonprofit sector at A&L Associates. Before entering consulting, Doris was a Community Youth Organization Coordinator for five years at the Girl Scout Council of Vermont, while, at the same time, working with Burlington Schools on project development, implementation, and evaluation.  In addition she served on Burlington School Tax Campaigns (14), City Counselor, and Mayoral Campaigns.  As a mental health/medical/psychiatric nurse, she held positions at Cincinnati General Hospital, Burlington's Visiting Nurses Association, and Mary Fletcher Hospital.
