A dual citizen of the US and Canada and originally from Connecticut, Drake graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After becoming interested in nonprofit administration and policy analysis, she enrolled in UVM’s program in January of 2011. Drake is currently a fellow for the James M. Jeffords Center for Policy Research, and is working on a master’s thesis on the state of food systems planning and implementation governance in North America. Her interests include food systems and food security, energy sustainability, and nonprofit governance. In her free time, Drake enjoys skiing, running, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
