Kaj is a first generation American of Dutch parents and was raised in Killington with a love of Vermont and the outdoors. He completed his undergraduate study in Business and Plant & Soil Sciense and pursued accounting after his bachelors and received his CPA License in 2003. Kaj is a board member and former president of the VT Society of CPAs. He currently works for the State Insurance Division as a Financial Examiner and Analyst in Insurance regulation. Kaj lives with his two daughters and wife in Moretown where he serves on the Moretown Elementary School Board and enjoys running, skiing, hiking, gardening, brewing beer, hunting and fishing.
