Julie grew up in the town of Jeffersonville, Vermont but currently makes her home in Colchester with her husband and two children. She is the program/business manager for the Vermont Genetics Network at UVM which is one of the largest grants ever received in the history of the University. The goal of the grant is to build biomedical research capacity throughout the state by promoting faculty and student research at seven primarily undergraduate instututions within Vermont. Julie's spare time is spent with her family, she is a Girl Scout leader and a coach in her local community.
