Alison Maynard is the Director of the Center for Leadership and Innovation at the University of Vermont, where she develops learning opportunities for professionals across industries and sectors. She is a member of the Lake Champlain Workforce Investment Board; has been involved in program planning with Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, and she is a board member for Child Care Resource. She has worked in development at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and in addition to UVM she has worked at the University of Massachusetts and the University of Minnesota.

Alison is a graduate of the University of Vermont and a native Vermonter. She studied abroad in Freiburg, Germany, and had a Fulbright year after graduation in Salzburg, Austria. For fun she enjoys outdoor concerts, Burlington’s bike path and parks, and spending time with her family.
