Email: email ErinOriginally from Olean, New York, Erin Flynn graduated from Ithaca College in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Legal Studies. Following graduation she moved to Washington, DC and worked as a legal assistant at the environmental law firm Beveridge and Diamond, PC focusing on the federal regulation and safe use of pesticide and herbicides. She continued her work in the legal field at New York City’s Cadwalader, Wickersham, and Taft where she worked as a case manager in the white collar crime division. Thereafter, she transferred to the financial sector and was employed in the strategic management sector of the New York City branch of the French bank, BNP Paribas. Most recently Erin served as an English Education Volunteer with Peace Corps Moldova where in addition to teaching English, she worked on educational reform, small business development, and Roma rights initiatives to name a few. She is TEFL certified and also spent one year teaching English in a primary school outside of Bangkok, Thailand. Erin is an advocate of civic education, social responsibility, and sustainable lifestyles. She, along with her husband, is happy to be a part of the UVM, Burlington, and Vermont community!
