Looking over films

"My internships provided me good preparation for my professional career. My research projects ... gave me a more well-rounded view of cancer and the ability to better understand what my patients are going through and the expected outcomes."
Amy C. Mottola, radiation therapist, Massachusetts General Hospital, graduate of UVM's radiation therapy program

Clinical Placement

Process

During the Fall semester of your third year, you will receive information about the different clinical affiliates. You will submit your first choice by the indicated deadline. If everyone is satisfied with their assignments, the process is over. If everyone does not get their first choice, or if there is a conflict, then a lottery will be held for all students. After the lottery, there will be an option for students to switch assignments among themselves.
