Lorelei's finally figured out that if she comes to me with a book, I will be karmically obligated to read it to her

Mmmm, the tip is the best bite! (and she flips the pizza upside down too, just like Elliott)

a little bit greener

playing with Eliott's doll

eyes?

Elliott getting his first tennis lesson - not much hitting the ball happened, but it was still fun

oooh! Lorelei is a great ball chaser

she loved sticking her fingers in the racquet holes

Elliott's much more impressed with the culvert than with the tennis courts

Elliott, a tasty snack

an interesting bird we saw

snuggle time

Lorelei really wanted to get in the water (or so she thought)

Elliott never stopped moving, climbing, running, exploring

Lorelei not being gentle to a maple tree sapling

Elliott was annoyed that there was no way into this castle

aww, how nice to share..

going for a walk - Lorelei likes the backpack (or at least, going outside) so much that I have to hide it when not in use, or she drags it around whining

I got my little cradle out for the kids, and Lorelei immediately climbed into it

Leaves! Finally!

UGH! If she lives to two it'll be a miracle

this is how Lorelei climbs the slide

summiting

How many times can I say "NO STANDING!"

she controls her speed with her bare feet, so she never really "slides" anyway! At least she doesn't whack her head

Elliott takes any opportunity to just pop out the back door. They both love to go outside

Ahh, brotherly love

peekaboo! More and more, Elliott's entertaining Babe

growing up.. he reminds me of Vanessa in this picture

Elliott was fascinated by the bits of tree stuff falling from the sky

my attempts at taking pictures of the kids in the prostrate delphinium (see last year's pictures for comparison)

my favorite

and they all go tumbling down

off they go!

Lorelei loves walking barefoot in the grass

Elliott with more tree debris, which he happily sprinkled on our heads whenever we leaned over

I was going to take a picture of the apple tree blossoms, when I found this spider apparently enjoying a meal of a honey bee

spotted robin from Terry

Lorelei likes the tree debris too

smelling the lone blooming Apricot Beauty - my favorite!

a white trillium

hiding in his bunny box

We found you!

three's a crowd

Lorelei enjoying a hula hoop at Saxon Hill's spring fling (in the pouring rain, it was a whole lot of fun!

the kids were hard to take pictures of, but they had a good time
