Elliott getting an un-birthday gift from the Wellmans

Elliott loves watering

Lorelei gravitates toward slopes - runs down the driveway, climbs up and down the slope of the lawn.. often falling, but ever determined

Ahh spring!

the kids help full some pots with soil for seed sprouting

Beep beep! My back will never be the same after pushing her around in this.. while holding her feet up with one arm so she doesn't get sucked under the seat

follow the leader!

I offer her 10 things for breakfast, but she eats dirt!

Lorelei wearing a new birthday outfit

carrying her new baby doll around

Elliott and Mike making a real "rock wall" - he LOVES it

girls girls everywhere!

trees haven't leafed out yet, but it's only a matter of days

Amelia

and Kira getting ready to go home

Lorelei inspecting a new lampshade (she approves)

Elliott heading out for one of his last days of school

Lorelei loves his shoes (and any other shoes) - to try on, or eat, either way

opening a gift from Grandma Lucy

both kids enjoying the magnetic fishing game

future alumnus?

rearranging the kitchen

what IS it with electrical cords??

she likes to put her food on a spoon with one hand, and then try to eat it off the spoon... hasn't succeeded yet, but she's at least trying, which is more than I can say for Elliott most days.. (he still eats everything with his fingers)

Basil enjoying some running time

Where'd the bunny go? (she loves him, but now that she can crawl, we have to leave his cage closed wehen she's awake or she climbs in and eats his poop - ick-o!)

Elliott helps clean the glass on the tank (it's more stable than it looks, kinda)

ooho, fish!

as the rain continues, we decide to make a swing using some rope Mike bought at the hardware store, and Elliott's broom

He spent most of the day asking me to make it higher or lower, so he could try standing, sitting or hanging from it..

there is a stalker in our tank who seems to enjoy munching off the sides of our rainbows at night - ugh ugh ugh! We are also losing neon tetras to an unknown predator (not kid related, but hey).

Lorelei enjoys swinging as a spectator sport

her sport is climbing precariously onto and into everything (she's standing in the walker here)

a beautiful foggy morning

Fiona baboona mona

Lorelei, the height of fashion (she chose the rainbow leggings and shoes - she often chooses clothes and brings them to us to help her wear))

this boot too?

Elliott washes his baby doll's hair

morning faces - so cute!

trying to eat the camera

showing me where Lorelei's hair is

We replaced the broom with a cedar plank, and now Elliott's getting some serious altitude

Lorelei watches (she has been knocked down a few times, so now we only push him when she's napping or otherwise occupied)

eating green beans is always a hoot

mmm.. eat the rainbow!

"uh! uh!" (she's constantly pointing and wanting things..

Elliott steers as they move the tractor back to Cambridge for the summer

Lorelei and tire - about the same size

Elliott showing us his climbing skills

each one of these kids is doing their own thing..

oh, you!

finally conked out

more leaf progress
