admiring the elephant's tail - you can't really tell, but she's standing independently here!

Elliott calls this his Mermaid picture :-)

"what *IS* he doing?"

scrub scrub... (standing independently more! Yes, we have a no standing rule in the tub.. and it goes the way of most of the other rules around here - sigh!)

Lorelei being a chubba wubba

Splash! Elliott proves that physics experiments are fun

A mohawk?!? Where?

Elliott enjoys a special Valentine treat from Grandma and Grandpa

Mmmm, the feet are the best part!

Lorelei and Elliott open their Valentines from Grandma Nancy

studying them in great detail..

Hmm, how does this one taste?

Lorelei is madder than heck to be sitting

enraged girl! she wants to walk so badly it hurts! (my lower back, anyway)

Why won't this bin move? She's pretty good at standing holding onto an object, but still lets go and falls randomly.

She bravely cruises from the lego bin over to the bookcase!

Lorelei likes to touch eyes. Better Tenderheart bear than me!

Valentine boy

and Valentine girl. I tried, but could not get a picture of both of them at the same time that was decent.

Dot made cookies for all of us.. yum!

Mike took Elliott (and Wendy took Jasmine) to see the Dora Live show, and we all went out to dinner beforehand. Unfortunately, I'm a lousy paparazzi, and only took this picture of Lorelei trying to score ice from my cup. Imagine distracted kids with chapped lips, restlessly squirming, staring at the camera in low light and refusing to smile. Yeah, you didn't miss much. They had a great time, though Elliott commented that it was way too loud. Grr.

Mmmm, sweet peas!

Lorelei gets in on the pea eating, snarfing them down (sans pods)

Elliott eating sweet peas. We played a game where I tried to convince him to make a pea smile like I did, but he gobbled the pea before I got a picture. It worked! He ate at least 20 of them (and they weren't all that great, bring frozen). Hey, whatever it takes!

Gobble, gotcha mom!

Lorelei sporting another mohawk

showing the back..

Who hoo! Lorelei is Supreme Splash Girl, counters beware!

Ugh, this hat won't come off!

Yay!

What do you mean, it was folded?

I'm sure there's a way to open this thing...

Mmm, got one! (she really did bite through the foil.. ooops!)

Babe, be mine!

Teehee, I have a chocolate!

smiles

and more smiles

oooh! Lorelei studies her cookie from Grandma

checking the other side..

Mama, dis is MINE!

AAAAAH! Snarky Girl is SO mad when I take her cookie away.
