Lorelei plays with Grandma (OK, Lorelei says "Grandma, I don't want to look at toys, I want to walk!")

the kids are both enchanted with the musical snow globe

mmm, eat the globe?

Obviously coming down with something, Elliott actually falls asleep on the floor!

floor dwellers, sans Kira

Amelia is oh so proud of herself for climbing onto the chair on her own! (and she should be!) It's all good until she tries to stand on it.

oooh, guitar!!

If Amelia's ever a guitar player, I will take all the credit! :-)

Elliott negotiates with Tracy (complicated rules like please don't bean my kids in the head with balls :-)

Lorelei eats the camera

We bring out the bin of balls, and Kira is in heaven

speed demon!

"hey, my turn already!"

even Elliott gets a ride

Kira walking with Mike (once you start, you may not stop!)

Elliott and I spell our initials in pretzels

Can I eat your name Mom?

Elliott sets up his Frog House, now that the Christmas tree is down

Peek-a-boo! Lorelei loves the doors

Hey mom, this isn't a bunny! (having a bunny party)

Ahh, Elliott's growing up!

Lorelei in the walker for the first time - she doesn't really get it, and scoots backwards like a normal kid. Elliott took off down the hallway laughing and immediately understood it, when we put him in around the same age

Shadow taking a bath in her favorite spot in the basement

Lorelei tries a Heidi made bagel just for her - and really enjoys it!

oooh! A cool musical toy (she's actually quite interested, this isn't a great picture.. you might ask why I put it in anyway? well, I'm a silly person, that's why)

Elliott making Monkey Bread from a kit that the Ploofs gave him

Hello Cheerio girl!

Mmm....

Yummy! It didn't last long!

Lorelei practices on her tummy.. just manages to scoot backwards a bit

Elliott tries "helping" her crawl - ugh

Happy to be sitting, singing a song of nakedness

Oh, I love that smile!

For fun, I put some cheerios on a string

yum yum yum!

Elliott gets in on the action

He wanted me to take a picture of the lego thing he made for me - a three wheeled honkaputonk

experimenting with colors and water.. dissolving sugar of different persuasions

blurry, but so cute!

I'd like to say that he was fascinated, but while I happily chatted about capillary action, he just wanted to chow the sugar

our little marker experiment.. but the colors didn't separate like I remember them doing when I was a kid. What's up, Crayola?

Just a small representation of the Towers of Ridiculosity that have been made in our house lately
