 S.aureus

S.aureus is a Gram-positive cocci that appears in clumps or grapelike clusters. It is catalase positive. It appears  as round yellow or gold colonies on laboratory media. S.aureus can cause food poisoning and toxic schock syndrome. S.aureus can be found on the skin and in the nose. Transmission is via the hands.
