LGBTQA Center Resources
The LGBTQA Center provides physical and electronic space for the community to get together, and resources to serve the community's needs.
Need help with advocacy?
If you you would like to learn more about being advocate for LGBTQ people on campus, contact the LGBTQA Center. We can help you to learn about LGBTQ identities, familiarize yourself with the University's programs and services, and point you toward resources at UVM and in the wider community.
We help the community stay in touch. We manage several listservs and publish Q(U)VM News (formerly This Week In Rainbows) about LGBTQA campus happenings. We also manage QNEWS, the news page for UVM's LGBTQA community. We're active on social media including Facebook,Twitter, and Flickr. We also maintain an anonymous Q&A blog for questioning students.
Student Lounge Center and Lending Library
We have a lounge located in the Allen House, Room 100. Come hang out, read on our comfy couch, or study on one of our study station computers with free printing.
We provide several publications, including an Affirming Card to indicate support of UVM's LGBTQA community, and a list of on and off-campus LGBTQA resources entitled The 411.
