Intern with DREAM!
DREAM is currently looking for summer interns to provide summer programming to DREAM youth in Burlington, Bennington, Rutland, and White River Junction, as well as in the Boston area.
DREAM Summer Community Interns work with a young, passionate group of people to provide engaging summer programming to youth ages five to eighteen living in affordable housing neighborhoods throughout Vermont and in the Boston area. Each intern is responsible for creating a youth enrichment program for a housing community, and also collaborating with other interns and neighborhoods. In addition to developing and implementing activities for the youth, each intern also works closely with families to build and support strong relationships.
This internship is time-intensive and requires a serious level of personal commitment. Interns will be working five awesome days a week from the middle of June through the middle of August. Each week will be divided between time spent with youth and planning and reflection time, resulting in a comprehensive learning experience that will satisfy internship requirements. As a DREAM intern you will be collaborating with others to construct a summer of adventure and exploration for incredible youth…and you’ll have a rockin’ time doing it!
