Student Government Award Descriptions
Best New Club
This award is for the club that has proven to be a good egg in the basket of new UVM clubs. Every year tons of new clubs are recognized at UVM, and this award will be given to the club that has done the best job getting people excited about their new club.
Community Impact Award
This award is for the club that has fundamentally improved campus culture. This is a club that has shown a steadfast commitment to Our Common Ground in all of its actions and has maintained a steady approach to social justice and equality.
Best Treasurer
This award goes to the treasurer of a club that has been the one person to keep all of the funds together and keep the organization in good standing with the finance committee. Budgets are always tight, and this individual has enabled your club to get the most out of what you received or fundraised.
