    Laura is is a two-time graduate of UVM, and a longtime fan of leadership & civic engagement! Before returning to UVM's LCE, Laura worked at Johnson State College coordinating leadership and service programs, and in various offices at UVM including Career Services, Orientation, and the Center for Health & Wellbeing. In her previous roles, Laura has taught service-learning courses incorporating both local service in Northern Vermont and an international service-learning course on civic leadership and youth development in the Dominican Republic. When she's not on campus, Laura enjoys deep conversations and drinking coffee with friends, reading, cooking, spending as much time outdoors as possible, service and travel (often combined), craftiness, geekiness, silly jokes, and long walks with her dog Dewey.

    Lisa was born and raised in Bucks County, PA. In the suburbs of Philadelphia, she developed a love for the Phillies and has been going to games for years. She graduated from The University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling and Human Services and a concentration in Human Development. Lisa is currently enrolled as a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration (HESA) program at UVM. She enjoys baseball, music, card games, reading, the soothing powers of lavender, wearing hats, and spending time with her large family.

    Nicole Potestivo Holtz calls Staten Island, New York home.  She completed her undergraduate degree at SUNY New Paltz in Elementary Education & Mathematics.  In 2006 she moved to Santa Cruz, California where she began her career as a Student Affairs professional and it was there a seed was planted.  Working in Residential Life at UC Santa Cruz, SUNY Cortland, and Champlain College nurtured her love of being an out-of-classroom educator.  Drawn to engaging in leadership development opportunities herself, Nicole is excited to develop leadership workshops, trainings, and opportunities for and with others!  She strives to foster inclusive spaces and works to promote social justice in communities around the world.  Nicole enjoys doodling, participating and supporting endurance events, and watching her favorite childhood movies and shows.  Her favorite saying is, “Stay curious!”
