- Laboratory notebook, quadrille-ruled, no carbon copies required.
- Dedicated USB flash drive for data storage.

Access to a computer
with word processing and spreadsheet software for writing
reports and analyzing data.
Course Format
Three meetings per week, 3:00-3:50 p.m. MWF, A429 Cook (Conference
Room). Attendance at these meetings is mandatory.
In addition, students will be expected to have reserved two
four-hour slots per week to conduct the experiments associated with the
course.
Examinations
There will be a final examination.
Course grades
For each student, a score will be computed based on 100 points to be
distributed as follows:

Preliminary AJP report: 10 points
- Homework: 10 points

Lab Reports: 3×23 = 69 points
- Final Examination: 11 points
Final
grades will be calculated and rounded up to the nearest one-tenth of a
point. Letter grades will be assigned as follows:
A range = 100.0 - 90.0
B range = 89.9 - 80.0
C range = 79.9 - 70.0
D range = 69.9 - 60.0
F = below 60.
Excuses, etc.
Only
reasons, not excuses, for missed or late work will be
accepted. Valid reasons for such must be supported in
writing and include, but are not limited to, notes from the academic
dean, the attending physician, the team coach, the officiating
clergyman, the presiding judge, the arresting officer, the FEMA
official etc.
Academic Dishonesty Disclosure
Academic dishonesty will not be tolerated. Perceived failures to abide by the standards of academic integrity will be prosecuted as set forth in the Academic Integrity Code.
