Textbook and Mastering Physics

The text we will use is Physics for Scientists and Engineers, by Randall Knight.  Please note that this text is bundled with the online problem library, MasteringPhysics.  Access to MasteringPhysics is required for the class.  I have some notes about the text and MasteringPhysics here

When you have have access to MasteringPhysics, please register for class MPCHU88617.  Please try to have your username for MasteringPhysics be the same as your UVM NetID.

Grades

We will use BlackBoard for notification of grades, surveys and homework solutions.  You can to get to your BlackBoard account by going to the UVM portal.

Performance in the class will be evaluated as follows:

Extra Help:  Please see me if you have any questions or concerns. Also, there are additional resources. You may drop in on afternoons without an appointment to the Department of Physics Clinic, located on the 5th floor central alcove of Cook.
