• Have your students create a slide show in KidPix about a unit they are studying like the AFRICA slide show demonstrated in class.
• Participate in a telecommunications project with your students
• Create a learning resource for your students to use like Birds of Vermont.
• Develop an electronic portfolio demonstrating your ability to integrate technology into your teaching.
• Build a unit where students "ride the Oregon Trail", determine budget's using spreadsheets, write situation letters home, and design Conestoga Wagons using a drawing program.
• Publish period newspapers related to a historic event. Have students research appropriate information on the Internet, use drawing tools to make up advertisements, and desktop publishing to layout and produce their newspaper.
• Design a Webquest or have your students participate in one.
