Maintain copies of all your assignments on the network in your class folder.

You should also keep a copy on your own disk for backup.

1.Telecommunications Project Identify students or a class to work with on a telecommunications project that coordinates with some aspect of their curriculum. Keep a journal of what happens, e-mail message sent, and fill in the telecommunications description and result template. A synopsis of your project and results will be published on your Internet site. (20%)

2. My dream classroom. Use the drawing and painting tools of ClarisWorks to show us what your dream classroom would look like. Include a brief description explaining why you designed your room as you did. (10%) 10/2 Print a hard copy in color for grading.

3.Desktop publishing document: All about me-include digitized picture of yourself, graphics of your interests, tell about yourself and your telecommunications project, teaching abilities, interests, etc. Use a banner and columnized layout so that it looks like a newsletter. (10%) due 10/9 Print a hard copy in color for grading

4.Internet curriculum links Using the world wide web locate 10 sites that provide useful resources on a focused curriculum topic. Include a description of information that can be found at each site. These sites should include a variety of resources including access to some primary resources and people, as well as other information. (10%) 10/23 E-mail this project to me.

5. Software Review Select one educational software program to review and critique. Using Clarisworks combine text and graphics from the program (use screen dumps) to respond to the criteria on the software evaluation handout.(10 %) 11/13 Print a hard copy in color for grading

6. E-talk discussion. Participation at least two times a week in e-mail discussions of assigned articles, forwarding of interesting information, questions and answers to e-mail messages, and correct use of distribution lists. (10%)

7. Development of WWW site: to consist of an introductory page, documentation of your products in this course and information you wish to include that will help you in seeking professional employment, ie a resume, information about your interests and abilities. EDSC 215 class products should include your: dream classroom, telecommunication project, a software review, Internet Curriculum sites, and relevant infomation about yourself. (30%) due 12/18.
