Monday
Introductions, course description, requirements,. Introduction to Powerbook and network. Working with a Mac. Introduction to hypermedia and research on learning. What is Hypermedia and multimedia? Looking at and evaluating some HyperStudio Stacks. Learning to use HyperStudio: Stack characteristics, selecting preferences, creating text fields, editing text fields, importing text. Working with backgrounds: changing colors, creating gradients, using Photoshop plugins, using photographs, importing clip art vs graphic objects. Using the drawing tools and linking cards.
Tuesday
Working with digital cameras, scanning pictures, scanning text, and discussion of copyright issues. Linking cards through buttons, setting up stacks, and file names. Using buttons to create special effects. Including  and recording sound and New Button Actions. Searching the Net for HyperStudio Stack ideas and add-ons. 
Wednesday
Adding animation to HyperStudio stacks. Storyboarding stack ideas. Using HyperStudio for Portfolio Assessment. and presentations.  Working with Photoshop to enhance photographs, working with layers, framing pictures. Creating and adding quicktime movies to stacks. Creating a communal stack. Discussion of Hypermedia as Mindtools
Thursday
Using some HyperLogo.for special effects Worktime for individual and group projects. Storage and dissemination options for projects.
Friday 
Worktime for projects. Construction and presentation of stacks. Student learn to save to CD-ROM or Zip Disk for Mac or Windows'95 and learn how to upload stacks to the Internet. Sharing projects and course evaluation.
