1. Tables make a good table of contents. You can
select a table, copy it and paste it on other pages. Click in a cell of
the table you wish to select and then go to the menu (Table/Select/Table).
Go to Edit/Copy and to the Composer page you wish to paste it onto.
After your cursor is clicked in place, go to Edit/Paste.

2. Tables can be used to create interesting effects.
Since cells can have all kinds of data and color, there are many variations
in the ways they can be used.
In the example on the right a 5 row 2 column table is created. The text
is right aligned and pictures left aligned. After the table is inplace, click
in the specific cell that you wish to change
and go to Format/Table Cell Properties to designate the color for
every other cell in column one.

3. This design incorporates a 3 X 4 grid where
the first cell has been set to span 3 rows. You can span cells across columns
or rows to create uneven cells. Highlight adjacent cells to be combined.
Then go to Table/Join Selected Cells.
In this picture above first the three cells on the left were joined, then
the last three cells were selected in the first row to create the second
combination of cells.

4. If you wish a table to have a blank cell, you
must place either color in the cell or write in text color that matches
the cell's background. The larger the text used to maintain the cell, the
larger the cell will look. To increase the width's of the first and last
column,
