Portfolios for K-12 Students
Booth
Fickett Math Science Magnet School is using HyperCard to keep track
and assess the progress of their K-8 Students. See samples of student-created
portfolios and an overview of how they make them.
Examples of portfolios from North
Woods Elementary School in La Crosse Wisconsin. They also use Hyperstudio
and include a sample from Grade 5 and 7.

Portfolios in Higher Education
In The Student Portfolio System at Illinois
State University, Department of Accounting, students build a multimedia
collection of their studies in career planning, formal classroom work and
their student life.
Electronic Student Portfolios are available online at Ohio
University. Included at the site are links to an online HTML tutorial
of their electonic portfolio process. Student portfolios include information
about their courses, skills, associations, personal information, interview
responses and a resume.
The Kalamazoo Portfolio shows how students at Kalamazoo
College are using portfolios. Online computer instructions and selected
student examples are available.
Electronic Portfolios can be produced using anyone of a number
of multimedia programs or it can be Web-based, coded with an HTML editor
