Hi Joyce,

Thanks for the big news. This means Holly won't have to sit and fret any
longer. Reality is here! I remember that both of my children were very late
and the wait was difficult.

I wanted also to send a message to you about how impressed I was with the
presentation on Thursday evening. It was so thrilling to watch the students
absolutely take over. They described their projects with such confidence and
enthusiasm. I marveled at the students who are still Freshmen and the
confidence that they have gained both in the technology and working with
others. Ashley, Devon and Emily were my students last semester so their work
was particularly heartwarming to me. All have done so well.

I know you aren't directly involved with this aspect of the PT3 project, but
your "mark" in on everything technology related that I've seen in DOE and
beyond. This project is successful because of your vision and your attention
to detail and careful planning. You continue to be an inspiration to me and
a wonderful guide and mentor. Thank you.

I may not see you much next week, but do want to touch base at some point
during May to spend time talking about the Portfolio course. Just let me
know when the work load settles down.
